Do you have what it takes?

President Obama's administration predicts the U.S. will need 250,000 new teachers in the next five years. Of those, at least 10,000 math and science teachers will be required in order for the U.S. to keep up with other countries.

In order to help this, the president's Educate to Innovate campaign aims to train a new generation of teachers. If you have a knack for math or science and want to help make a difference, now is a good time to put your skills to use.

The most common question students ask math teachers at every level is “When will I use math?” WeUseMath.org is a non-profit website that helps to answer this question. This website describes the importance of mathematics and many rewarding career opportunities available to students who study mathematics.
