I have been having a hard time getting my high school students to enjoy learning math. Do you have any recommendations for what I can do to get them excited?

Article from "Cool Math for Teachers"

Try this link: http://www.coolmath.com/teachers/karenstricks_throwcandy.htm

It talks about how one teacher got her students excited about math and even got them to do math by hand rather than using calculators.

Don't make your students feel

Don't make your students feel horrible for not knowing the Math. That's the main thing you need to do.
